One of Fender’s earliest artist series guitars, the Eric Clapton “Blackie” Stratocaster. Based on Clapton’s ‘54 Strat, the artist series mixes classic with some modern flair. The Lace Sensor pickups are crystal clear and eliminate all unwanted noise. There is an active Mid Boost control that replaces the Strat's second Tone knob, enabling humbucker-esque warmth, and a TBX tone control offering further tonal sculpting and boost potential. This does come with its original hardshell tweed case.
