The Leslie Model 16 (introduced around 1968) is a vintage rotating speaker cabinet designed specifically for guitarists. Identical in construction to the legendary Fender Vibratone, it features a stationary 10-inch speaker combined with a spinning foam drum that creates a rich, swirling Doppler/Tremolo effect. Unlike traditional keyboard Leslies, the Model 16 doesn't have its own built-in amplifier. Instead, it intercepts the output of your standard guitar amplifier.
